PHANTOM X 5

“A long-time performer on Tour, the 5 design has evolved into this faster-looking, racier model. I wanted to give players exactly what they’ve been asking for—a slightly smaller head with simple sight dot alignment, a wide topline and tapered wings. It sets up really nicely, especially with the new solid aluminum face.” — Scotty Cameron

Traditional Alignment

A clear view of the entire topline at address enables the player to align the putter face perpendicular to the shoulders and square to the hole, while three milled sight dots mark the sweet spot, providing additional alignment cues.

Mid-bend Shaft Technology

The stepless steel shaft has been engineered to minimize face rotation—or arc—in the putting stroke by incorporating a single “mid” bend aimed directly down the target line.

PHANTOM X 5.5 (Previous Model)

“We’ve reached the next level with the design that Justin Thomas and I started talking about a few years ago. Each prototype evolved into the next until we created the Phantom X 5.5 (Previous Model). Same shape as the 5, just with a lower bend for a little more toe hang to produce a nice arc to the stroke. I gave one to JT at the Sony Open and it went right in the bag.” — Scotty Cameron

Dual Purpose Alignment

A traditional topline with three milled sight dots provides alignment with the sweet spot while long, ground-hugging, brightly colored sight lines in the lowered flange frame the ball and provide vertical and horizontal player positioning guides.

PHANTOM X 6 STR

“The Phantom X line is about offering mallet players as many options as possible. With the face balanced 6 STR, I went with a straight shaft setup for golfers who really want to create a straight-back-straight-through putting stroke. It has all of the racy good looks of the Phantom X 6, just without offset and a straight shaft.” — Scotty Cameron

“The perfect blend of soft, sculpted contours mixed with angular shapes to help frame the golf ball. These materials work so well together—aluminum and steel. With the 7, we have a rounded flange with long lines going all the way back. Sole it and there are no shadows, the flange runs from the topline and just melts away toward the back.” — Scotty Cameron

“Every time we introduce a new putter line, I receive requests from Tour players and dedicated golfers for additional setups and configurations. Phantom X 12.5 is the result of some of those requests. I added the low-bend shaft for extra toe flow and also designed a new alignment option by milling a single sight line down the center painted black for a very clean look from address. It really sets up nicely. Adding this new model also gave me the opportunity to make a left-handed version designed so everyone can take advantage of the performance benefits of the Phantom X 12.5” — Scotty Cameron
